Elite · Beyond Sober · A Private Engagement With Kohdi Rayne
Private Engagement · By Application · Short-Term Cuts & Long-Term Builds

For the ones who built the life. And can't tell the people they built it with.

You don't have an addiction problem. You have a who can I actually tell problem.

Beyond Sober Elite is a private commitment to growth with Kohdi. Length set by the work, not the calendar — one month to nine. It is not the program. It is not a coaching package. It is the conversation that runs underneath everything else you do, with the one person in the room who isn't selling you anything that depends on you staying who you are.

It is not for everyone, and it isn't supposed to be. Twelve engagements a year. By application. The price is at the bottom of the page, where it belongs.

What this isn't.

A surprising amount of buying a thing is being told what the thing isn't. So before we go any further: a short list of what you are not getting here. If any of these sting, that's information.

·
This isn't rehab. I'm not a doctor and I'm not a treatment facility. If you need medical detox, get medical detox. Come find me when you can hold a conversation.
·
This isn't AA in a nicer hotel. No steps. No meetings. No God-as-you-understand-Him. No "your alcoholism is incurable." Different lineage entirely.
·
This isn't a coaching certification with a script. I don't have a script. I haven't read the book your last coach read. I read you.
·
This isn't a sales call dressed as a discovery call. If we talk, it's because I want to know if I can actually help. The conversation is the work, not the pitch.
·
This isn't a retreat. No silent week in Costa Rica with breathwork at sunrise. The work is built into the life you already have. That's the point.
·
This isn't a group container. No cohort, no Slack channel of strangers, no shared zoom. The point of paying this is not having to perform around peers.
02The Portrait · Read Yourself In Or Out

You have everything you said you'd have. And it didn't make any of it quieter.

Alcohol doesn't choose favorites. The structures you built didn't protect you — they just made the symptoms easier to hide.

You built it. Maybe several its. The companies, the assets, the seat at the right table, the recognition you used to picture from a distance. You made your first million, then more, then the kind of life that picks up when you call. Everything you said you'd have, you have. And the sentence you used to say quietly to yourself — I'll figure that out when I have the resources — that day arrived. You have the resources. And the thing didn't get figured out.

The drinking. Or the pill at the end of the day. Or the something else. Maybe it started after a death — your father, your partner, the friend you were supposed to call back. Maybe it started after a divorce, an exit, the moment the architecture of your life shifted under you and the floor that had always been there wasn't anymore. Maybe it just crept in over years until you couldn't remember when it stopped being a choice. The version of you at 11pm in the office that the version of you at 9am would not recognize.

You've thrown money at it. The therapist your friend swore by. The retreat in Sedona. The high-end center upstate that promised discretion. The book your spouse left on the nightstand. The dry month, the dry quarter, the dry year-and-a-half. Some of it helped a little. None of it landed. Throwing more money at the same shape of solution made the problem worse, not better — because the problem was never the budget. It was the architecture you were handed, and the architecture you were handed wasn't built for someone in your room.

Here is the plain version. You are not special and you are not broken. You are successful and human. Substances don't care what you've earned. The structures you built didn't protect you from the part of being alive that hits everyone — they just made the symptoms easier to hide and harder to name. What you actually need is not another fix. It is someone on file. The kind of person you put on retainer the way you keep your attorney, your CFO, your physician — for the next thirty years of the part of your life that none of them can touch. A permanent member of the room around your most important decisions. That is what this is.

03The Authority · Why This Room, Not A Comparable One

The credentials don't exist twice.

You are not applying to work with a coach. You are applying to work with the only person on this planet who has done exactly this, this way, with the lived experience to back it.

There are a lot of people in the recovery industry. There is only one with the exact intersection of what's on this page — and that isn't a marketing statement. It's a logistical truth.

I am also the person who survived stage 4 cirrhosis, cardiac arrest, and seven days to live by walking the exact methodology I now use to walk other people through theirs. Nobody else has that intersection. The credential alone isn't unique — the credential married to the lived experience is. That marriage is the entire premise of why this works.

You are not applying for one of many comparable engagements. You are applying for the only one of its kind. That has implications for what this conversation is going to feel like.

I'm not a doctor. I lived this. Then I built the room for it.

Before you spend any more of your time with my voice in your head, you should know whose voice it is. This is not theory borrowed from a textbook. It is the road I walked, and the road I have walked with twenty thousand other people since.

05The Work · What Actually Happens

You're not paying for advice. You're paying for calibration.

Advice is what people who don't know you say to people they don't have to live with the consequences for. Calibration is different. Calibration is what happens when someone who has seen ten thousand of these patterns walks alongside the one you're in, and tells you the truth about where you actually are.

This is a private container, calibrated to the work you actually need — one month for a precision cut, nine months for a full architectural rebuild, most engagements landing somewhere between. Not a program with a curriculum and a finish line. A working relationship. Length set by the work, not the calendar.

We start with a long opening conversation — ninety minutes, occasionally more. Not a discovery call. Not an intake. The first real session. You leave with a map of where you actually are, drawn by someone who can read it. Most people tell me later that this single conversation did more than years of what they were doing before.

Here is the orientation that makes the rest of it work, and the thing I will not put on a feature list: someone in your life whose interests are not entangled with yours. I don't need your approval. I don't share investors with you. I don't go to your dinner parties. I'm not trying to keep you as a client. The only metric I care about is whether you leave needing me less than when you came in. Ideally — and this is the actual goal — we never need to speak again. The work made you the person who doesn't need it. That orientation changes every conversation we have. And paradoxically, it is the reason most people who finish an engagement still text me on the anniversary of starting.

06The Engagements · Three Ways In

Three engagements exist. Which one fits you isn't your decision. It's the conversation's.

Read these as a map, not a menu. The fee at the bottom of each is what it is. The right one for you is what we decide together on the call. Most people who apply end up in the Legacy Path. Some don't need that much. A few need more than I can offer here, in which case we'll talk about it.

/ How To Read The Fee

Read the number below the way you'd read a financial advisor's first proposal, or an architect's first sketch for a long-term home. This is not a coaching fee. It is the architecture you are commissioning for the next thirty years of the part of your life that none of your other professionals can touch.

A note on the fee. The fee is the fee. It isn't a starting point. There is no upsell. There is no "platinum" tier above this. There is no payment-in-full discount and no "let me think about it" tier. Whatever shape you choose — direct enrollment or a conversation first — is what you pay. Nothing else gets sold to you for the duration of the engagement.

A note on the path in. Most people who land here already know. Begin Engagement enrolls you directly — no call required, no qualification gate, the work starts on receipt. Talk First opens the application; we have a private conversation and decide the shape together. Both doors lead to the same room.

A note on the timing. The three engagements above are starting points, not contracts. Custom durations between one month and nine are considered for the right fit — short-term cuts for precision work, long-term builds for full architectural rebuilds. The conversation decides the shape.

I've spent more on therapy in five years than I'd spend with him in a year. Nothing landed like this. Nothing.

07A Note Before You Decide

If you've read this far, you already know.

I'm going to be plain with you, because that's the only register that works for the people who land here.

You have read more about your situation than the average person ever will. You've probably tried more than you'd admit out loud. The fact that none of it stuck is not a character problem. It's an architecture problem. The architecture you were handed wasn't built for someone in your room.

I built this engagement because for years I watched people in your exact position pour resources into the wrong tools because nobody had built the right ones for them. The doctors couldn't help past a certain point. The therapists couldn't move fast enough. The friends had skin in the game. The retreats had Instagram accounts. The room you actually needed didn't exist, so I built it.

And the thing I want to be plain about, because it is the entire shape of how this works: if we work together, you are not hiring a coach. You are adding a permanent member to the room around your most important decisions — the same way you'd add the right CFO, the right attorney, the right physician. The kind of person you keep on file. The work is calibrated to make you the person who doesn't need it anymore — that's the only success metric I care about. And then the door stays open. Years later, when something hits, you will know how to reach me, and I will pick up. Short-term cuts. Long-term file. Both are what this is.

If you're ready, the form is below. If you aren't sure yet, that's also fine. Read the books. Walk for a week with the question. The door doesn't close. What I won't do is sell you. If you have to be convinced to do this, this isn't the engagement for you.

— Kohdi. Founder · Beyond Sober · Year Nine
/The Application · The Only Way In

The door is here. Walk through when you're ready.

Each application is read personally by me, usually within forty-eight hours. If we're a fit, we book a private conversation. No assistant. No sales call. Just the first session, and a clear decision at the end of it. If we aren't a fit, I tell you, and where possible I point you somewhere better.
